OCR: ELEMENTS OF A TURN Each turn in INTRIGUE lasts for 2 days. During this time, you will want to prepare orders for your units. You should also use this time to negotiate with other players. That is, plot strategy, form alliances, etc. Remember, no player is bound to any treaty or al- liance. They write their own orders and may choose to do something entirely different than you had hoped. When the turn is complete, the program takes all sets of orders and procedes to resolve combat. If a country has not submitted orders, their units are assumed to be defending in place. The units are retreated if forced out of their region.
